ICCR Scholarships for the Academic Year 2024-25

The Embassy of India, Lomé is pleased to announce the ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) Scholarships for Togolese nationals for Undergraduate, Post-Graduate and Ph.D. programs in select Indian Universities for the Academic Year 2024-25. The scholarships are available for courses in engineering, science, agriculture, commerce and economics, arts and humanities and social sciences, etc.

The applications from interested students from Togo for the Academic Year 2024-25 are invited online through ICCR’s A2A Scholarship Portal http://a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in under the following schemes:

(i) The India-Africa Maitri Scholarship Scheme (formerly known as Africa Scholarship Scheme). 

(ii) Lata Mangeshkar Dance and Music Scholarship Scheme (formerly ICCR Scholarship Scheme for Indian Culture).

The following timeline needs to be followed to avail the scholarship:

4 April 2024

Opening of ICCR A2A Portal for inviting applications from interested candidates.

31 May 2024

Last date for applicant to submit application on Portal.

30 June 2024

Last date by which Universities are to inform the decision whether the student is admitted or rejected (If confirmed, intimation to concerned Indian Embassy; if rejected, intimation to students). 

15 July 2024

Last date for Indian Embassies to allocate scholarships and to generate Offer Letters. 

25 July 2024

Last date for students to confirm/reject acceptance of offer of scholarship.

All interested students are advised to visit the university/institute website and thoroughly research the courses offered, eligibility criteria and general information about the university/institute before applying for admission. The students should ensure that they are eligible for the course and meet the eligibility criteria and should submit relevant documentation as required by the universities in addition to the basic certificates mentioned in the application form. They should also make themselves familiar with the living conditions at the University’s place. They are required to register at the A2A Portal with a valid email ID which they will be using during the duration of their academic relationship with ICCR. All further communications regarding the scholarship will be done through this email ID.
