Promotion of Cultural Ties Among Diaspora

Embassy organized an event on ‘Promotion of Cultural Ties among Diaspora’ on 3rd September 2023. The occasion was used to commemorate three years of Embassy’s establishment in Togo as the resident Mission was opened on 3rd September 2020. The Indian Association of Togo partnered with the Embassy in this event. M/s Ajanta Pharma also partnered by putting up a free medical camp at the venue. Embassy took this opportunity to put up an ODOP stall at the event showcasing 25 products representing different districts of India. More than 1000 members of Diaspora and friends of India participated.

Diaspora children gave cultural performances representing nine States of India. A fashion show, including both the Indian and Togolese participants, was also held. Embassy also organized a quiz on ‘Bharat Ko Janiye’ and top three winners were awarded.
