PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS AND NATIONAL YOUTH DAY

 

Embassy of India is celebrating the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas and National Youth Day on 12 January 2022 at Embassy premises at 5:30 p.m.

On this occasion, Embassy cordially invites members of Indian diaspora, especially diaspora youth – “young achievers” – to participate and talk about their role and contribution in supporting and promoting India-Togo relations. Some suggested topics are as follows:

  • Vision of Youth for India@2047.

  • A talk about their innovative, technological, or entrepreneurial spirit and how it has helped develop business ties or people-to-people bonds between our two countries.

  • Any ideas on youth summit or traditional sport of India, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, with participation of Togolese friends to strengthen cultural bonds between our two countries.

  • Performing a classical dance form of India or classical instrumental solo or classical vocal solo (Flute, Guitar, Sitar etc).

Embassy seeks participation of diaspora youth in Togo. A short film on Swami Vivekananda will also be screened. Performance of all participants will be recognized. Participation will be subject to strict Covid-related health protocols, and each participant must present fully- vaccination passport/certificate. A maximum of 30 guests are allowed on first-cum-first-reservation basis. Programme will also be screened on Embassy’s social media channels.
