PRAVASI BHARATIYA DIVAS AND NATIONAL YOUTH DAY
Embassy of India is celebrating the Pravasi Bhartiya Divas and National Youth Day on 12 January 2022 at Embassy premises at 5:30 p.m.
On this occasion, Embassy cordially invites members of Indian diaspora, especially diaspora youth – “young achievers” – to participate and talk about their role and contribution in supporting and promoting India-Togo relations. Some suggested topics are as follows:
Vision of Youth for India@2047.
A talk about their innovative, technological, or entrepreneurial spirit and how it has helped develop business ties or people-to-people bonds between our two countries.
Any ideas on youth summit or traditional sport of India, as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, with participation of Togolese friends to strengthen cultural bonds between our two countries.
Performing a classical dance form of India or classical instrumental solo or classical vocal solo (Flute, Guitar, Sitar etc).
Embassy seeks participation of diaspora youth in Togo. A short film on Swami Vivekananda will also be screened. Performance of all participants will be recognized. Participation will be subject to strict Covid-related health protocols, and each participant must present fully- vaccination passport/certificate. A maximum of 30 guests are allowed on first-cum-first-reservation basis. Programme will also be screened on Embassy’s social media channels.
