Celebration of ITEC Day
Mission celebrated the first-ever ITEC Day by hosting a Reception on 2 December 2021 at Embassy Residence.
Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education and Research and Secretary General, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Togolese Abroad were Guests of Honour. Over 50 ITEC alumni attended the event. Some ITEC alumni shared their training experience and how it has benefited capacity building in their respective areas. Ambassador, in his remarks, highlighted 268 Togolese professionals, including some civil servants, have attended ITEC training courses in India since 2007-2008 in multiple disciplines, particularly in areas of importance to Togo. Ambassador also emphasized that capacity building partnership is a key pillar of India-Togo bilateral relationship.
